OpenHIE 2023 Community Meetings are annual events that bring together community members to connect and learn from each others’ shared experiences and strengthen the ability to design and build toward ecosystems that raise the level of health for all.
In 2023—the 10-year anniversary of OpenHIE— the community meeting will take place in Lilongwe, Malawi! Government officials, implementers, tech developers, and other community stakeholders will have networking and collaboration opportunities.
VENUE: Lilongwe, Malawi, at the Umodzi Park Hotel
Sessions topics include:
an OpenHIE Architecture Summit to discuss OpenHIE’s framework
a session to bring OpenHIE Steering Committee together
networking time for eHealth leaders to discuss important governance and policy topic
a hackathon to allow developers to collaborate
several unconference topics proposed by attendee relevant to their implementation work

April 16: Regular Registration ends
April 17: Late Registration begins
