Oxford Open Digital Health Supplement: Health Impact, Efficiency Gains, Costs, and Savings from Digital Health Interventions

Sponsored by Digital Square, this supplement in Oxford Open Digital Health focuses on the health impact, costs, savings, and cost-effectiveness of digital health interventions. This too-often-lacking evidence is critically needed for governments, donors, and other digital health stakeholders to be able to make evidence-based investment decisions for digital health.

Compiling examples of research evaluations along with an overview of methods, a new evaluation framework from the World Bank, and a commentary arguing the need and demand for more such evaluations, this supplement illustrates that these types of quantitative impact and cost analyses are both feasible and necessary to drive digital health forward.
