Country Priorities for Digital Health: Findings and Recommendations for the Digital Health Community
Country leaders are increasingly turning to digital health interventions to strengthen health systems, increase health system efficiency, and improve the quality and access to health services. Digital Square at PATH conducted this study on digital health priorities to inform our ongoing work to support countries’ digital transformation. We conducted a desk review and key informant interviews with country leaders across six diverse countries—Burkina Faso, the Dominican Republic, India, Indonesia, Kenya, and Nigeria.
This report presents cross-country findings and recommendations with the aim of informing other global and national stakeholders in the digital health community to collectively advance country-led digital transformation.
This report was made possible by funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
