Immunization System and User Requirements Document (SURD): Tanzania
This systems and user requirements document (SURD) focuses on immunization in the Tanzania context and aims to provide a common language across various audiences--program managers, software developers, and implementers of digital systems--to ensure a common understanding of the appropriate health information content within the immunization health program area, as a mechanism to catalyze the effective use of these digital systems.
Information detailed in this SURD has been adapted from the generic workflow processes, data and decision-support algorithms, as derived from the DIPC project conducted by PATH and other related WHO documents described below. In addition, this SURD describes linkages to related services for immunization, such as contact tracing, facility management of an infected patient, and considerations for community management. Note that this SURD is contextualized to the local Tanzanian policies and requirements.
